Dua for the Oppressed – Seeking Justice from Allah

Published on: July 28, 2025

Introduction

Injustice can leave the heart shattered, but Allah promises the prayer of the oppressed will be answered. This dua is for those who feel wronged, unheard, or helpless — calling on Al-Adl (The Just) for divine intervention.

Prophetic Wisdom

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Fear the dua of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.” (Bukhari)

Suggested Dua

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Transliteration: Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.

Translation: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

When to Recite

  • When feeling victimized or treated unjustly.
  • During sujood or late-night tahajjud prayers.
  • When advocating for justice in your community.

May Allah support all those who are oppressed, restore their rights, and bring justice to the earth. Ameen.
