Introduction
Life is full of tests and tribulations. Islam provides us not only the framework to endure trials but also gives us powerful supplications to gain strength and patience. One such beautiful dua is found in the Qur’an.
Dua in Arabic
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Transliteration: Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna ṣabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna ‘ala al-qawm il-kaafireen.
Translation: Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Context and Explanation
This powerful dua was made by the believers during the time of Prophet Musa (AS) when they were facing overwhelming adversity. It teaches us to ask Allah not just for endurance, but for divine firmness and ultimate success.
