Prophetic Dua for Anxiety

اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ...

Translation: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by men. (Bukhari)

When to Use

  • During moments of panic or anxiety attacks.
  • Before sleep if overwhelmed.
  • In sujood when feeling helpless or depressed.

Other Tips for Peace of Mind

  • Dhikr (remembrance) — especially “La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.”
