Published on: July 28, 2025

Introduction

In a world full of unseen harms, jealousy, and spiritual danger, Islam gives us powerful tools of protection. This dua from the Qur’an is a divine shield against all forms of evil, visible and hidden.

Dua in Arabic

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ * مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ...

Translation: Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created... (Surah Al-Falaq)

Context

Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas were taught by the Prophet ﷺ as daily protection. He would recite them every morning, evening, and before sleep — especially after being affected by magic.

Protection Aspects

  • Protection from jealousy and the evil eye.
  • Safety from dark forces, magic, and human harm.
  • Inner peace in moments of spiritual discomfort or fear.

How to Apply

Recite Surah Al-Falaq and An-Nas 3 times in the morning and evening, and blow over yourself and children before bed. You can also make it part of your travel duas.

May Allah protect us from every harm, seen and unseen, and surround us with His divine light. Ameen.
